  • Configuration of the Storage Element

    •     Notes on GDMP server installation on SE:

    In order to have the GDMP server correctly installed and configured with the EDG compilers, the following steps need to be done on the Storage Element where it is assumed that the C++ compiler libraries are installed under /usr/local/lib:
    1. The following lines should be appended to /etc/ld.so.conf:

      2.    /usr/local/lib
         /opt/edg/lib
       
    2. the command /sbin/ldconfig -v should be executed at boot time.
